Santa Engrácia neighbourhood stands at the hill over Santa Apolonia, and it´s one of Lisbon's typical neighbourhoods, altough not a picturesque one, just by the Graça quarter. The Street-view is also very nice, and although the apartment is located at a residential area built around 1960 (-3rd floor without elevator), several interest and important historic places are just a few steps away, starting with "Convento dos Barbadinhos" and the Water Museum just a block away, or the famous "Feira da Ladra" (500m), but the ex-Libris is obviously Santa Engrácia Church, one of Lisbon most important monuments also known as the "Panteão Nacional" (600m). Further you can enjoy some of city's best panoramic views at Miradouro da Graça, Miradouro de Santa Luzia, or the magnificent Miradouro Senhora do Monte, fantastic belvedere's in Graça area. Once you're there you can´t miss to visit another of Lisbon icons, the mystic S. Jorge Castle. Also at Largo da Graça you can start the well known trip around the city by taking the 28 Tram.
